So this is a first for me.... I'm going to be hosting a game of SH here on GOG's forums. Signups are limited to 10 players. All are welcome!

Welcome to Secret Hitler #4 Herlock Sholmes! (Not to be confused with Arthur Conan Doyle's character Sherlock Holmes. Actually, Holmes might not make an appearance except perhaps as narrator? That remains to be seen.

Anyway, assuming we have 10 players, this will be a game of Professor Moriarty & 2 of his Evil Henchmen vs 7 Trusty & Intrepid Scotland Yard folks.
However, as seats 1-10 have been filled with Gummi Bears the openings are for seats 11-20! (I know, I know, they aren't the best for me; Jelly Beans are so much better, but I have Gummis on hand, so there!)

For the confused, this is a forum game based on the social deduction game Secret Hitler. For the rules, check the game's rulebook, available here. If you prefer a quick video explanation, this video does a pretty good summary of what you can expect.

To sign up as a participant, just post in this topic saying you're in! Note that Secret Hitler games only have a maximum of ten seats, so don't hesitate in taking a seat! The expected full rule set will be available in the main game thread, but for now they will include the official rules, a rule governing activity in the game, and the ones set by the GOGFather for all GOG Forum Mafia games.

The game will begin soonish but probably not before the 23rd of January. ZFR's Forum mafia game might happen first.
I'm open for suggestions on handling this!

Well, SH is definitely a social deduction game; and we have had 74 or so forum mafia games on GOG (admin/chatting/discussing ideas thread) with a revolving cast of players but more players are always welcome and wanted!

I don't much like Secret Hitler but the theme sounds fun. I think I'll just observe though.

Herlock Sholmes is also the name they used when localising The Great Ace Attorney. In Japan he's just Sherlock Holmes, but since certain elements of the character are still in copyright in the US and the Conan Doyle descendants are somewhat litigious they played it safe.

Just to clarify, the SH in my post was referring to Secret Holmes, not Sherlock Hitler.

I was about to recommend Herlock Sholmes instead of Hherlock Solmes, but I see I don't need to anymore. BTW, I loved this setting, tho I also liked the Atlantis idea. But this one just looks cooler.

I'm noticing a distinct lack of Lifthrasil in that roster. He said he liked the theme; he still needs to confirm he will be trying to elect Hitler again.

Yeah, you don't mess with Micro! He put my name as well even though he refused my application previously. I better not object, who knows what Micro is capable of ;)

I once saw someone vote Micro in one Mafia game and the next Night they were nightkilled.

Granted, the mafiosi in that game were me and Dedo*. But still!

Fair warning to all; I couldn't think of flavor and a friend has graciously agreed to write the flavour for me.

I'm in and it wasn't me who stole the candy on seats 1-10. 10 players is a pretty big SH set up. Are you sure 7v3 is balanced? The games I play tend to be 5v4 or 4v3 or 3v2

Is it still 3 fascist policies to reach Hitler zone?
