Best way to answer that question, is to simply try it.

Edit: btw - GOG "promises" that their version runs on Windows 10/Windows 11.
So, if you buy the GOG version, and it shouldn't run on your system, they will grant you a refund.
I'd say, you've got nothing to lose either way.

But again: if I were you, I would try to run my old CD-Rom version first.

Mais encore une fois : si j'étais vous, j'essaierais d'abord d'exécuter mon ancienne version de CD-Rom.

According to GOGdb and PCGamingWiki, the version sold here is 1.4 with no CD check. If the version you have on disc is older, then you should try unofficial patch 1.5. Online I've only seen official patch 1.4 for the US, Polish and Japanese versions, though you might have better luck finding the French version.

If you still can't manage to launch the game, then it's possible the CD check is the problem. Apparently, you should be able to simply add -nocdcheck to the command line for the game's shortcut to skip this.
