This one at least was a day one release here. If you wanted it here, why did you not buy it here?

First off, I never stated that I wanted The Solus Project on GOG, nor any of the other games I listed for that matter. I simply listed the games that I recently received from GOG Connect and stated that given the quanity of games released during this last sale, that it looks like things may be picking up regarding GOG Connect.

2nd, I never buy games when they first come out so wether a game gets a day one release on GOG or Steam couldn't possibly be more irrelevant to me. I have a MASSIVE backlog of games, both in regards to PC gaming and console gaming, so buying games when they first come out, thus spending top dollar, just makes absolutely no sense to me. Patient gamers can save a significant amount of money in the long run, especially if they buy a lot of games and I definitely buy a LOT of games. I usually never even consider buying a game unless its at least 50% off.

Hope that clears that up for you.

Yeah, that would be nice, but something tells me that's never going to happen.

sswam: I'd like to mention that this pisses me off.

They introduce a great new feature with the potential to attract people to use GOG. I didn't hear about it until today, for some reason. I own thousands of games on Steam including many DRM-free games. I try using GOG connect, and it finds zero games.

This is bad business and actually repells me from GOG.

RighteousNixon: Yeah this point of view makes no sense since its completely up to the developers. Its like the people who complaing that certain titles arent available for Xbox One Backwards compatability. That is also 100% up to developers. Xbox came right out at E3 duing the BC announcement and stated that it would cost the developers nothing, that MS would pick up all the costs of making gmes BC. All they needed was the ok from the studio's. So getting pissed off at MS for a game not being BC or GOG for a game not being available for GOG Connect just makes no sense. Your aiming your frustration in the completey wrong direction.

I have gotten a small handful of games from GOG Connect so I for one am thankful for that much. Would I like to see more? Absolutely, who wouldn't, but I know its not up to GOG so I will continue to be thankful for the few titles I wind up getting.
it is about GOG. They are simply giving away a free copy on their sales platform. They could do that if they wanted

I still have no idea how gog connect works. it's some select obscure games you own on one of the platforms?(shit is wack to me) no doubt gog is getting some skrilla from steam to do it. cant blame them though. why compete when your users like choices and there is a good chance they have a steam account? it's the same thing as a person having more than one console. my only issue is here(like steam) getting censored.
I'm just surprised I can't transfer Wild Hunt and thronebreaker... As I purchased them on steam before I started using this platform.

Well I guess they may come onto GOG connect at some point, but as with all of them it'll doubtless be a limited time offer. It wouldn't make sense to put those games on GOG Connect permanently as then people would just buy the game on Steam in order to have it in both locations.
But you all know you need to set game list to public on steam profile? In another way, it will not work.

Ya, that would fly if their were some titles available right now, but their is not a single one. Their are loads of developers who give Steam keys away like candy if you buy the game somewhere else. You cannot seriously think that their is not a single developer on both Steam and Gog who is fair and generously minded enough to not want to double dip?

Come on, if developers were just given the ability to enable this feature or not enable it, it would not just come all at once during a sale and then disappear afterwards. That proves that some overarching force is controlling when and which games get connect capability. Gog is clearly this "villian".

Gog could also just make it a necessity for selling their games. It is not like steam keys cost anything, Steam gives them away for free.
