Hello
I would like to change all my Steam games' desktop icons to the style that GOG has.
I provided an example for PAYDAY 2. File "pd2steam" is Steam's version of the logo, file "pd2gog" is GOG's version.
I can see that GOG has made them, as shown in the picture "pd2gog" below.
I provided an example for PAYDAY 2, however I would like to make the icons for all of my currently installed games.
Is there way for me to download the GOG-made icons? Or do I have to make the icons myself manually?
Thanks in advance!

Did you check the image cache?
C:\ProgramData\GOG.com\Galaxy\webcache\<somenumber>\steam

I can confirm that i see the images in the folder. However the image what I am looking for doesn't have the circle border with shadow.
Is there a way to get the said image (attachment pd2gog) WITH the circle border or am I stuck with the square image in the files?
If it isn't possible to get the image/logo with the circle border, is there a template, that I could use?

Also thanks for the response, I would never have guessed to look in the location that you've specified. :D

Tbh, it was just a guess. They have to cache the icons somewhere so I thought maybe they are in the imgage cache.
Most likely the round icons are stored in a similar location (like %appdata% or %localappdata% for example). Check the GOG directories for png, jpg or ico.

Use whatever GOG icon you have, delete whatever is inside the circle using your preferred image editor, set the deleted area transparent, and you have your template.

After that take what ever icon you want to "gogify" and paste/layer over that your template icon, and you should have the kind of icon you want.

I did find a GOG game border from the internet, but as far as I've searched, I did not find a GOG icon databse. (If it even exists!)
Thank you for your help y'all!
Years ago i used MapTools (actually getting into it again), and one of the tools is the TokenTool generator.

TokenTool will take a picture, convert to PNG, do a circle around it, and possibly add a little snaz. otherwise it may do what you want.
