So I downloaded the latest edition of the Unofficial Patch which comes with an installer.

The installer gives me the option to install the "Plus Patch" which includes new/restored content that was cut out from the game.

I've installed my Vampire Bloodlines with the plus patch, but I have this question, is there any way I can "uninstall" the plus patch without having to uninstall the whole game?

My idea was to run the installer of the Unofficial Patch again but only un-checkmark the Plus Patch? Will it overwrite my Vampire Bloodlines files and restore it to its "original version"?
Usually that's not possible, especially if files have been changed or overridden.

But you already had an idea how it could work, the simplest way would be to try it.

Yeah I may just gonna have to unstinall the game itself and then install the patch again
I have multiple installs of this game for that reason.

I usually have the Basic version tied to GOG Galaxy and have updates disabled there.
That's often my basis, if I make a folder copy to mod a 2nd copy of the game.

My 2nd install - usually for Plus version or some other modded version.

A lot of times patches like this add an uninstall file to the game folder. Uninstallation instructions are almost always in the readme, too.

To get a definitive answer it might be an idea to post this in the specific V:TM forum as the creator of the patch is very active there and should be able to advise.

Elmofongo:
It's been a while since I played, but IIRC Wesp had made it so that the game could be modded, with each mod simply being installed to a separate folder in the game path. It may apply to the patch as well, so you could have a plus patch folder, and a regular patch folder. His readme should mention if that's possible.

There should be a python script or similar for this exact reason.
Is it so hard to have files moved and saved for each patch, mod or version so that they can easily be reverted.
