I hope I'm posting this in the right place.

I'm looking for a game I'm certain I saw some time ago on GOG. There problem lies in the fact that I don't remember the name, and I couldn't find it, even after looking throughout entire RPG section. There are some characteristics I remember:
- It was fantasy RPG, clearly either Japanese or Japan-inspired.
- It had colorful, upbeat, cartoonish graphics (3D). Judging by those, I would take a guess it was published about 2003-2005.
- It had party system, similar to that known from Bioware games. I took a cursory glance at the plot and I half-remember something about one of the party members being a princess(?) and it having something to do with overarching plot.
- I read that the developers run out of money during productions and thanks to that ending was kinda underwhelming and disappointing.

I will be thankful for any suggestions. I hope I simple somehow missed the game and it did not fall prey to the Dragon of Confused Copyrights Claims (R.I.P NoLF).
