i read on the wiki that it was canceled because epic could not find a publisher. here is my suggestion: gog could offer to publish it if epic finishes it. how does that idea sound?
Even if Epic still had the files to it, there'd be an entire tangled web of production and rights management to get the game spun up again.
the game`s files still exist. i have actually played a leaked version of it. people never agree with what i write, no matter what.

The plight of so many, unfortunately.

That said, using "but the leaked files are out there, just pay someone and get it finished!" doesn't exactly rally people behind your suggestion either. Assuming any of those files/assets/etc. could be used, people involved in their creation would still need to be credited and compensated for their work. In the more likely scenario where none of those files get used to make the game, money would have to be divested toward creation of the game from scratch. It's clear at this current point that Epic would rather spend their money on what they know they can guarantee profit off of, and sadly Jazz Jackrabbit doesn't seem to be under that umbrella.

Sorry but you are dead wrong. People always agree with what you write.
Epic Games is too busy not working for a living because they have Fortnite. They even abandoned their alpha version of an Unreal Tournament "reboot" (which is pretty awesome but visibly unfinished). Don't hope for them to do anything before the battle royale craze dies down.
fortnite seems to be in trouble now. seems that it used a dance without permission from its creator and he is pulling epic to court over it.

Dances have copyright? Man, eventually we probably won't be allowed to breathe cause somebody did it before us and we will need to get permission from them to do it.

Well we already cant say alot without offending someone. So its getting that way certianly.

As for the whole "Carlton Dance" copyright thing he doesnt care. Its all about the money for him. If he could he would sue you for dancing that way. Just stupid tbh.

It made three billion dollars of profit in a year. I'd like to be in that kind of trouble. I don't think a lawsuit over some dance puts it in any kind of jeopardy.

Indeed. Odds are high that any court fees they'd incur from a judgment against them would be a drop in the bucket and recouped before they even left the courthouse.

Brilliant. Epic just realized nobody wants the Epic games store so instead they'll release Jazz Jackrabbit 3 on GOG!

It would make much more sense to build a new JJ3 from scratch then literally finish that old thing
I even made myself Jazz Jackrabbit 3D Intro in Unreal Engine 4.
