SilentMRG: My friend, don't give me false morals. Look at the game, study the proposal... It's a game made by a fan for fans! There are no financial gains from the project, there are only donations from fans who decide to donate out of sheer choice.

If you want to create controversy... Go create somewhere else!

paladin181: I'm not trying to give false morals, I'm asking a question about legality. It might not matter to you, but it matters to a lot of people. I asked if they legally obtained a license to use someone else's intellectual property. Whether or not someone is profiting from it is irrelevant.

In fact it seems that site does a ton of copyright infringement. Maybe someone should inform these companies that their rights are being infringed.
If you've played the game, you must have seen the love that went into every pixel of every level and every character.

And before you come up with this "copyright infringement", know that much of the material presented in the levels and many of the characters were created from scratch. And all the others have been improved.

This project is clearly a tribute to several companies from the golden age of gaming!

Wanting to be the copyright inspector will not improve your life, let alone overturn the dream of the developer and countless players, who for years dreamed of getting their hands on a game as well polished and incredibly full of content like this.

Seriously, I feel sorry for you, and for your toxic view of a fan project. I don't know what your job is, and I don't even care, but I'd say you work at Nintendo, hehe. XD

Jokes aside...

I'm still getting the "site can't be reached" error. I tried pausing my antivirus solution, and it still doesn't work. And it also isn't working from my phone... This is really weird.

Maybe try a VPN. It could be a routing issue.
