Unique Games treats the GOG catalog with some great releases – let’s look into them!

Director of Football (-30%)
Football Director is a tough job. Team motivation, training, squad selection ¬ these are just a few of the things that have a direct effect on the result of the match. But the Director of Football does all this plus: take charge of sponsorship, stadium, balance sheets and making sure the team performs in the league.

Have a N.I.C.E. day! (-30%)
Action racing game with 3 different car leagues. Easy gameplay: The more races you win, the more money you earn. Equip your car with new weapons and extras and start your battle.

N.I.C.E. 2 (-30%)
Your racing opponents are already waiting for you. Take up the challenge, equip your car with weapons and tools and win the races.

All launch discounts end on October 25th, 1 PM UTC.

Still took a couple attempts but managed to get to the actual race in career/championship mode.

Schlaumayr: I remember NICE2 being a bitch to run properly on modern systems. Still own the original game CD… and of course it crashed now, two times before I even entered the race :(

But at least I own it here now.

I just installed SCREAMER 2 (BLEIFUSS 2) for the nostalgia - and it delivered!!

Edit: I tried a certain setup combination of the checkmarks and it runs now.

Dann isses wahrscheinlich leider so wie von CMiq gemutmaßt, und die Verwertungsrechte speziell für den kicker FUSSBALLmanager sind nicht freigegeben.

Beg you pardon, I did not have the information available, since I posted on my mobile phone. I checked it now and I got the checkmarks on the following options:

Anzeigenkorrektur
Extramodus
Alles Filtern
SoundFX an
Force Feedback aus

I opted out the checkmark at "Software-Engine" and I had 4k as resolution.

This worked properly in my case... don't know, if this helps anybody.

Seriously, you release N.I.C.E. and N.I.C.E. 2 and you put Director of Football on the thumbnail?

I had exactly the same reaction :) I was quite surprised when I finally opened that news and read that two out of three games released are those from Axelerator/Have a nice Day series.

I found out something odd - it turns out that german version is much heavier in size than english one. I installed both to see where the difference is, and it turns out that it's literally one file - intro.avi.

In english version it's 22,4 MB size, but german - is 527 MB! And both have exactly the same video (length, video and audio etc). Anyone knows, what's the reason behind this?

This means GOG's versions don't have in-game music? Well, that's pretty bad. A dumb decision from the publisher to remove an asset from the game and put it as different product/download, even if it's free. It makes no sense.

None of the digital versions feature in-game music. The retail versions played the music via CD. Hence, if you burn the soundtrack on CD and put it in your primary CD drive, probably the game recognizes it. Another option is to run the game through the CDAudio emulation of DxWnd.

I understand this, I just meant they should have added the audio files (or the CD ISO) into the main game package, not "sell" them apart (I know they are free on steam), for example like the original Quake release is here.
