Fisimatent: now the free use of 6 months has suddenly shrunk to 30 days!!!!
Use Paysafecard to buy wallet funds? Those never expire.

Fisimatent: I don't know if something has been changed there, or if it has always been like this only for 25 euro credits: but now the free use of 6 months has suddenly shrunk to 30 days!!!! What kind of Dagobert Ducks are these? That's a price increase to 600%!
Thanks for the heads-up, I was about to buy a new code for the next 6 months.
Although the info on their site is not very clear. One page says they charge 3€ after 30 days, another at the beginning of the second month and one says after the second month.
Transfer to your wallet is a viable option, if you haven't spent the whole amount when they begin to charge you.

I had liked using Paysafecard only because it was so uncomplicated, practical and free for half the year. Since I usually wait for price offers on Gog, it can take a few months before I have spent 25 euros. Now it seems that you have to spend your money IMMEDIATELY within a month to save 3 euros. However, I compared: my 10 euro receipt from the month before last still had 6 months on it, but my 25 euro receipt from last week only had 30 days on it. Under these conditions, I will of course only buy 10 euro credits and add them up if necessary. So far it has gone without a hitch...

Wtf? 30 days? I was complaining when they reduced it from a year to 6 months. And they had also increased the conversion fees then. So much for that too, then, and back to not having any usable payment method.
And the problem with wallet funds is that you must choose the currency beforehand, and with GOG's rates changing when they feel like it, I used to switch back and forth according to what was better, I'd feel really cheated if I'd lose out on however little.
Ah well, like I said, so much for that.
A big additional warning to everyone who has an unused older code:
I bought mine on September 21st, the receipt says it is free for 6 month but they already charged 2x3€ monthly fee.
I never had any problems with this service before, but the recent changes are more than fishy...

Well it's strange they changed the no account to only 1 month for a paysafecard until they start taking provisions of 3 euro per month.
I had to use a free account and there it is like so if for 13 months you don't use the cash amount they will try a provision of 5 euros after such a long time of no use but they can't take anything from you if you have 0 on your account.

Most of the time, crooked penny amounts remain on the credit balance that you might want to add up - even if it's "only" 70 cents. But these have now generally always disappeared. I hope that Paysafecard doesn't remember the open amounts for later payments, because then a newly purchased 10-euro voucher would suddenly only be worth four euros.
