I just purchased CMBB. It is moving very slow. Too slow to play. I sent in a ticket but they told me it could take two weeks for a reply. Can anyone help?

It moves in hesitations. Not sure else how to describe it. I didn't grow up with computers so go easy with me please

Well, older games can run very bad on newer hardware, since newer hardware isn`t optimized for older games.

yeah well, I really cant offer an explanation as to how to fix it, it might be the game doesnt like older ATI cards or windows 10 is causing it in some form.

With old 3D games, DgVoodoo2 is always a good goto. It has made many an old 3D title playable for me.

I'd argue it's the other way around. The game is from the year 2002, "optimized" for new hardware (up to windows 10).

The PC in question is from around the year 2009, running on windows 10, which with every new update actually undercuts backward compatibility. I've seen drivers for older GPUs start acting up on various PCs after a W10 update. So there is, I think, the probable cause, if I would have to blindly guess.

The game comes with a bundled ddraw wrapper inside the game folder. Delete any compatibiity settings in the game executable if needed. And tweak some options running the dxcfg.exe, also into the game foder ( the wrapper configurator ). Try different things like windowed or resolution etc... and see if it helps.
