Think about it, your favorite game is about to get remastered, that should be a pretty big deal... but as it appears, you don’t seem to be much of a fan of this trilogy. That’s totally fine, Resident Evil 1 is not your cup of tea. It’s an old game so I can totally see why.

I like all resident evils (some more than others - and I don't care much about the multiplayer-oriented ones); still, I like Capcom's remake of the first one better than the original. Who just decided that I'm not "true"?

(not important, but...) why say it in French? Why not in all our 3 languages... or... just in English...

d6nxyzrwk: I actually didn’t get to play any of the remakes/remasters, I only played a demo of the RE2 remake. It’s really cool and everything, but I’m an 80s and 90s kid, so I just have nostalgia for that era. Reason why most of my GOG games are old classics with a few exceptions of course.
I find the remake (first released on the Dreamcast I believe) to be very true (there's that word again) to the original... just looking a lot better.

I actually some of the original Japanese soundtrack CD's with the original opening and outro tracks from Resi 1, both with and without lyrics.

I can't use YouTube (on a phone date connection till Friday) I will upload a few of the songs I have ripped and stored already to one of those play it and download sites like mega or google files at the weekend. I have a mixture of end credits, save rooms, character themes and miscellaneous/studio ver/extended tracks (some of them cut from the western releases) on my HDD.

Okay, this looks pretty cool. PC... does this include the QOL changes like autoaim, or is it the same as the big box PS1 edition gameplaywise?

You're not a true fan unless you have multiple rotating blades and run on electricity.

No you only a true fan if you wasted the money to buy Weskers Report and total fan boy if wasted the money to track down, import and translate Weskers Report part 2.
