Gonna be refunding the game before the end of the month if the 1.068 update isn't restored and in working order before then. Tired of this incompetence from GOG.

Still missing the 1.0.68 update.

I'm going to be refunding the GOG version next week if this is not resolved by then. I'm not getting stuck with another out of date GOG version of a game.

Is it GOG's fault, or the dev's or publisher's fault? I may be wrong but I don't think GOG has the resources to update hundreds or thousands of games. Maybe you just want to buy games on Steam instead? (I doubt the issue with updates will be going away)

He's overreacting. Kenshi was always kept up to date by the devs.

For whatever reason the last update failed (Galaxy as well as offline installers were completely borked) and GOG rolled the game back to the last version so people can keep playing.

I don't know why they haven't tried the update again yet. Maybe the dev didn't realize the update failed. Or they are trying to find out what went wrong before updating to prevent the problem from happening again.

However, I'm sure Kenshi updates will keep coming.

Maybe we're addicted to RAGING at GOG for existing, for the dopamine and/or adrenaline. :P ;)

All right. Hopefully the update situation is fixed.

Did that already via their Steam forums. I can't really wait much longer, otherwise i'll be stuck with an outdated version of a game again because of GOG's 30 day refund policy.

Also contacted GOG support weeks ago and they said they don't have an ETA on the offline installer being updated.

While I haven't tried updating via Galaxy again, it really doesn't solve the problem of the offline installer being outdated, which is whole point of why i've bought from GOG for years.

I appreciate the helpful suggestions though, unlike some posts that like to downplay the sad state of GOG as of late, while attacking anyone that brings up the issues.

From the release notes, as posted on Steam Community hub, Mon, April 1

Kenshi 1.0.68 Patch Notes

1.0.68
Added free camera mode for screenshots and videos. Toggle with ;

If you experience any issues after the update, please read this post on how to report crashes or bugs and make a post in the Lo-Fi Games forum, ensuring that you’re nice to our lovely moderators.
in reality I think that the patch will not be released on gog. The team is more focused on the next 1.070 or something like that which will be released in several months on Steam and Gog.
