As far as I remember Jack Orlando has outstanding atmosphere (the prohibition era in America) and is worth purchasing for the soundtrack alone (jazz!). I have game on CD and Steam, but at this price I'd take a copy here, especially that it contains soundtrack and someone made an effort to provide Linux port also.

The soundtrack is amazing, but the game is... not really fun. Moon logic and insane pixel hunting (like finding a grey paper clip on a grey roof...).


IMO the sale lacks Paradise Killer, one of the most fun and original murder mystery games I've played in a long time :-)

Jenny leClue looks really nice, but one review mentions it ends on a cliffhanger... is it really a cliffhanger, or more of complete story with some sequel bait an the end? Is there a sequel? Cause I'd rather not play it if it's essentially half a game with no continuation in sight.

Just Broken Sword 1 and 2. Moving to 3D is a big mistake. Even their 5th one is still in 3D but with cell shading and trying too hard to pick up the glory of the original 2.

Oh, well, there were some issues with gameplay, indeed :)
There was also an option to forget some item and not be able to go back – resulting in being stuck. I hope it's fixed in "Director's Cut".

Gemini Rue is an amazing title.
It oozes with atmosphere. And the story is amazing too.
I highly suggest getting it.

I've been eyeing Broken Sword 1 & 2. There was a big gap between the 2D and the 3D games. If I only play the first two, will I have a complete experience or are there any loose ends / cliffhangers that scream "now you have to play the next ones"? Certainly! Gemini Rue is possibly my favorite "modern" point-and-click and atmosphere has a lot to do with it.

Don't worry, each game is stand alone story. The only thing ongoing is the romance between the two main characters but it's so unimportant you can ignore it.

The good old days when GOG(?) was providing Wine wrappers...
I also have bought the game because of the Linux support. :)
