The fact that I got news yesterday (Tuesday) that my insurance approved my surgery, and I'm due to have reconstructive surgery on my nose in the summer, so I can finally breath for once in my life. My doctor said it's complicated, I have a crooked nose (born that way) and a severely deviated septum. They said my nose is complicated and will take 4 to 6 hours to reconstruct. But finally I'll get to breath. I was very happy to get that news yesterday from them. My insurance approved it and we are moving forward.

matterbandit: For the past month, I've been picking up the occassional littered aluminium cans I'd stumble upon here and there, as I'm walking about my day. An empty beer can on the sidewalk. An emply soda can tossed in the snow. This morning I took my bag of cans to a recycling center and was refunded 16$ CAD! :) Might not be much, but it can certainly buy me a game here on GOG. :P

Today my Mom announced to me her plan to fly to Italy to visit her eldest sister who's turning 92 soon! I think the last time she saw her sister was 15 years ago, at a siblings reunion she helped organize (many siblings scattered across the globe!). So, this is a very big deal for Mom and I am so happy she's going through with this. :)

The fact that one of my sh*tty neighbors is probably getting evicted soon. They think they can outsmart me, but they've been caught MANY times, and on video with their ridiculous noise, and management is on the case. It's very satisfying. If they're out on the street, it is THEIR fault, and they brought it on themselves. I've been dealing with this for months. It's about time it ends.

Now that Grandma is in the hospital, we're free to spend as much time as we like cleaning the biohazard labyrinth house that she hasn't been to for 2 years now. We only got started last November because that's when her living biohazard of a son finally completed his transformation into a Moe's Tavern addict and now nobody can tell me to stop snipping trees that completely clutter the lot. While she was with us, we'd have a deadline of 3:00 because that's when adult daycare have had enough and give her back; and we all know how dangerous it is to leave her alone with anything that generates heat.
