I just can't help but wonder. It's like the third time I've seen it discounted 90-95%, and it's not an old game (2016). In fact, if memory serves it's been on sale with massive discount (60%?) not long after the initial release. It's obvious it's way overpriced normaly. Would it not have made more sense to lower the normal price than to put in on such a massive almost-free sale repeatedly?

I'm not complaining, I'm just sort of baffled by it.

Just take a look at the price history here ;)

That involves the idea of being in contact with the publishers/devs, who have more than likely left a recorded message that repeats every few months.
It's kind of a shit game TBH.

I mean, there are worse games here, but it has a lot of annoyances.
I was amazed because the other day was the first time I saw it not discounted...
As far as I'm aware it has a (near) permanent 70% discount, so either it's an odd marketing decision (being discounted is more appealing than being cheap) or some weird error in instructions...
Kind of fun seeing a game with a 99% discount; not there yet but soon getting there.
The Dwarves are a very proud race
I like to think they are making a performance art statement towards deep discount culture instead of getting people like me to buy it because it was discounted.

On major sales, if i have a game on my wishlist (meaning no fullprice buy), i usually have 2 criteria to push me over the edge in that decision:

1. Game fell below 5 bucks.
2. Sale percentage is 80% or above.

I also have criteria for when i consider the sale an insult:
1. Game is 5-10% off, and it's over 5 bucks to begin with (in other words, it's a token sale, not a real sale, and you're just trying to tell me that the 5 bucks off of a 50 dollar game is totally worth it: you my as well would've made it a 1% sale)

You now have be believing these guys are onto me.

I don't know the answer, but I have just now finally installed the game. So, thanks for your question.

I'm waiting to see if they ever get to 101%.

Sometimes people call here, ask how much a room is, and I tell them "150 per night."
They ask, "Can you do any better?"
I say, "Sure. 175."
Are you suggesting dwarves should be paid less for their work in the mines because they are shorter people?

That is... is... SHORTISM!
