The d3d8 wrapper seemed to have fixed the 32-bit color issue, but I don't see a huge improvement between 16-bit and 32-bit in the game's graphics, lol.

I'm not hearing any sound effects ingame. For example, when I hit an enemy, I don't hear any sound effects play.
Update: fixed this issue by changing "Sound Buffer" to "Standard" in the config file
