I saw someone earlier mentioned that the sales repeat after awhile. Anyone know if freespace 2 ever went on sale? I'd really like to get that game now, but I'd also like to know if it may go on sale to save the extra..oh, probably $2.00. :)

It's already on sale (50% off), until June 30th. So I'd say wait a little bit, maybe it'll be included in a bundle or something.
