As the title suggests i cant get any dosbox based game to run on a thinkpad 8 tablet. If anyone has gotten dosbox to run on a similar hardware/software setup PLEASE let me know.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions or comments.

Perhaps this might help?
A quick Googs shows a lot of talk about it being a SDL issue.
I don't have any fancy (or non-fancy) tablets so I can't test it.
You sir, are a frigging genius!

Well technically the guy that made it would be the genius.
Also, that would translate to "Thank you skin".. I think you meant "Dank u wel" :P

You're a genius for finding it on Gog. I tried searching, but I searched with terms like DosBox does not start on Win 8, and got nothing.

I always forget that in German and Dutch the w is a v sound and vice versa. Glad you got the gist though!

Thanks again!

German and Dutch share similarities, but the pronunciation is much softer.
Which is why German is better for shouting.
Also, ironically I found the GOG topic through Google which is actually a better GOG search engine than the one GOG itself made.
And indeed the key to a good search is the terms used.
