I know GOG only works with older to newer/older games but please for the love of glob dont ever start an early access program like Steam. Dont get me wrong its a great idea for Steam and some of the games are ok, but most of them are trash that we are expected to pay full price for. Plus all those forums over there are so full of trolls. Just stick to what you guys are doing and Ill will be a customer for life.

(Masters of the Broken World not withstanding...lol)

Not sure what you mean. You're not expected to pay for anything as long as you don't want to buy those games, and as far as I can tell steam was full of trolls way before the early access program was in place.

OP what do you suggest GOG do instead?
plenty of decent games on early access like Grim Dawn and other kick started games... Wasteland 2 etc..(soon to be)

I was looking thru steam this morning and some more early access games popped up. I checked some of the forums and there not even a cooling down period before the trolls start rolling in. "This game is broke! I want my money back! rabble rabble rabble!!!" My thing is I been on these forums for like 2 or 3 years and not a signle flame war over anything its nice. Who can argue over great classics right?

What about the customer survey from earlier this year? A majority (about 60%, if I remember correctly) voted in favour of early access. Should GOG just ignore them?

As much as I like steam, you get the exact same thing with fully released games on their forums as well. People just love to bitch and moan and troll over there regardless of the games status.

I for one wouldn't mind early access games coming to GOG so long as they had their own easily identifiable early access section.
