bazilisek: I wonder if the GOG guys knew about this.
Nope
high rated
We convinced Amanita asap to do something for people who pre-ordered on GOG. More details to come tomorrow via TheEnigmaticT ;) For now - enjoy the (good) game!

SimonG: Why don't we all cancel our GOG preorder for this game and buy another 9.99$ GOG. So Amanita gets nothing and GOG still has it's sale.

If you still want the game, you can get it for 0.01$

Disclaimer:

I haven't preodered it. Usually I wouldn't even think of anything like this, but this is a dick move beyond anything I've seen in the indie scene so far. And, if GOG has a good lawyer, has some serious legal implications ....
That would cost us a heck of a lot in refund fees. :(

We'll be seeing what we can do beyond what we've worked out with Amanita to give all of you who preordered something.

And, in case you guys wondered, yeah, that was us who spent $300 bucks on the HIB store. While I can't say I'm thrilled with the surprise that Amanita sprung on us, there's nothing wrong with giving to charity. :)

spinefarm: They do this cause they fucked up... ;) With this stunt they just show that either Amanita have an awful management or they put pen to a false deal with GOG. Either way they screwed up.

gameon: No offense spinefarm, but the moderators had a go at me for swearing. Yet they have said nothing about you, or many others on the site swearing. its a bit harsh on me to be honest!
We're a bit hit and miss on the swearing. Really, I dont care so much about it, as long as it's not in post subjects. On the other hand, attacking other people is something that I do care about, and discordiac stepped in when a few of you guys were getting a bit too hot under the collar in another thread.

So: cursing? I'd rather you avoid Carlin's 7 Things You Can't Say on TV, but I won't whack you for it. Personal attacks and harassment? Yeah, that might get you suspended.

Be civil to each other is all I ask.

JudasIscariot: Hey kids, how do you spell the death of indie game sales on GOG?

B-O-T-A-N-I-C-U-L-A
Nah. We've got tons more lined up, and they're freaking phenomenal games. This is a slight hiccup, and while it's not perfect, you don't always get to have everything perfect. We'll do everything we can to make our customers happy if they're upset by this, and we'll chalk this up as a lesson learned as we move into a new marketplace.

And we'll keep bringing you guys the best games we can find, regardless of who made them or when. ;)

gameon: TET, the only thing i'm upset about is the fact that no-one realises that the other guy harassed me and personally attacked/swore at me FIRST. (after i said lets leave it be). And people keep downrepping me for swearing. (i got rid of it now). Its a bit harsh, because i am a nice guy. I have personal issues, and its hard to take.
discordiac, as far as I can tell, was talking to both of you all. As for downrepping, well, the GOG forums are like "Whose line is it Anyway?"

That is to say, "everything's made up and the points don't matter." :P

wodmarach: UK or bad US version?
Ryan and Colin are awesome in either version. Yes, Drew Carey has all of the personality of a dead fish, but Wayne Brady is brilliant at improvisational singing. Also, I can hardly understand the guys in the British version half the time, so my vote has to go US.

hedwards: If you like Colin, he's absolutely brilliant in that short lived Canadian series "Almost Heroes." He steals damn near every single scene he's in. It's a shame that it only lasted for 8 episodes and most people have probably never heard of it.

Who's Line is it anyway got progressively worse the more American it became. It was great when it was just UK personalities on the show and it was great being in the UK with American comedians, but the fully American version just wasn't anywhere near as good.
Since British people seem to have evolved a method of speaking that involves never moving their lips, I find them devilishly hard to lipread. As such, as funny as the UK version may be, I don't get it. :P
