OneFiercePuppy: I hope after this Kickstarter fails he spends a weekend or two considering how to make the pitch video less terrible. I like a good puzzle game as much as the next guy but the video looks like a conspiracy theorist's pet project mixed in with some religious handwaving. There's no doubt that there is a target audience for this but clearly they don't visit Kickstarter much.
Never played the first but I heard quite a few good things about it. Hopefully it'll do better next time around so you can play it again, Momo ;)
Did you see the revised video? (the one that is running currently) Because, yeah the first one did not really help to sell the game but the second seemed much improved. As to the time-line, I think it's meant to build a sense of mystery but misses the mark... Sigh :-(
~I guess I need to do a hunt for a copy of the original game and hope that it runs on my older XP machine. And who knows, stranger things have happened on Kickstarters - I guess all will be known in a few days.
