Preorder this charming point & click exploration game on GOG.com, save 10%, and get access to a cornucopia of awesome goodies for just $8.99!

Rarely you find a group of people with imagination and drive to surprise and amaze gamers quite like Jaromír Plachý and Amanita Design. These guys are indie devs that grabbed attention of gamers worldwide with eerie flash point-and-click Samorost, followed by Samorost 2 which won Best Web Browser Game in 2007, and their follow-up, the multiple award-winning Machinarium, their first full-length adventure and recent release on GOG.com.

Botanicula is point-and-click exploration game about five little friends: Mr. Twig, Mr. Lantern, Mr. Poppy Head, Mrs. Mushroom, and Mr. Feather. They all set out for a journey to save last seed from their home tree, which is infested by nasty parasites. The non-traditional storyline encourages you to explore, experience the new sights, meet strange tree creatures and listen to the music, rather than simply powering through the game and finding a solution. The original soundtrack and sound effects are created by Czech alternative band DVA and already won the game the Excellence in Audio award at IGF a few weeks ago. To add to the perfect game image, stylized graphics of Botanicula are mesmerizing and radiant, as you can easily see in the video.

Botanicula is a game of great atmosphere, funny animations, delightful music and playfulness. You can enjoy it for only $8.99 (that’s 10% off the original price!) in preorder, which ends on 19 April at 10.59 GMT.

RB: What does "soundtrack demo" exactly mean?

Dolantin: This uncertainty is the one thing holding me back from buying.
As far as I understood from the conference it does NOT seem to be the OST (which Amanita sells seperately for their older games and maybe plans to do the same for this game)
I wished a gog member could elucidate.
We have three of the tracks from the full OST.

MasodikTiasma: You should mark this as "completed" on the Community wishlist. Just a reminder...
Not 'till the game ships. But I should probably switch the status to "in progress".

EDIT: Never mind. I can see one of the devs switched it to "completed". :P
