It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

TomNook: Yeah, I expect I'll go with whichever is the cheapest in the end. But it'll also depend upon when Steam puts the pre-order up.
I don't work for Steam, so I could be wrong, but I don't think they're doing preorders of Legend of Grimrock.

EDIT: Because I can.

kalirion: The lack of automap will keep this game out of my grubby little hands.
You can turn automap feature on / off before starting a new game.
Edit: Ninja'd :)

SoanoS: It does? Huzzah! \o/

Are you sure? If it does I am very happy.

bansama: Yeah, buying from the devs directly gets you the same goodies as here and a Steam key by the looks of it.
Very slightly different goodies. We have a few exclusive wallpapers and concept artworks as well as everything the Almost Human guys sell.

SoanoS: Ah, I see. I misread the original post and misunderstood it for GoG pre-order. So the GoG pre-order doesn't include it? I'd still like to receive the key for Steam, regardless of where I bought it. :P
We don't sell Steam keys, no.

Everything should be back to normal now... and sorry for this we didn't mean to scare you guys. ;)
Be civil, folks. If you're making personal attacks in a thread about preorders for a dungeon-crawler, you're doing it wrong.

FiatLux: But since you wrote "you're doing it wrong." then I have to ask what would be the right way for people to attack me ?
avatar
Miaghstir: Not publicly? Say, in PM's, or duke it out in a game?
Smoke signal? Carrier pigeon? Angry semaphores?

Lexor: Since today is the last day of pre-order and this is fresh title, not old, can I get the info at what time game will be released? At midnight?
I don't know. Let me ask around at the office.
The game will be released at 17:00 GMT on the 11th (which is 19:00 Warsaw Time, 13:00 EDT, and, um, 10:00 PDT)?

Oh, heck. Timezones are confusing. For clarity: We're releasing at the same time as the awesome guys at Almost Human and Steam. Simultaneous worldwide release, baby!

Fred_DM: and GB is currently on GMT +1, right? that makes GMT +2 for German-speaking Europe. 19:00, same as Steam.
Yup.

kodeen: T, has any of your QA staff attempted to play this with a controller? I'm about to build an HTPC and was wondering if this would be suitable from the couch.
I don't have the least idea. You could probably find out over on the AH boards, if you wanted to ask them there.

reaver894: damn you all stop it, im down to 200kbs ::rage::
The speeds you are experiencing now are not affected by others downloading this game - we're using one of the biggest content delivery platforms in the world and I can assure you it isn't under any noticeable load right now (actually I don't think we've ever put it even close to it's limits, even with the 10GB TW2 download last year :)

I recommend trying our GOG.com Downloader if you want to maximize the download speed - for me the download via browser never exceeds 1.4MB/s, yet via the Downloader I can easily get any game from GOG to download at 13-15MB/s at 15 concurrent sessions.

You can find the new version of the downloader here: http://gog.com/downloader/
