Got an email from my son announcing "my new baby" which, to say the least, came as a complete shock to me, since I just saw him and his girlfriend a few weeks ago, and there wasn't any "bump" at all, nor any talk of such things.

But I can live with this. :)

She's so cute, but I don't even know her name. I just got off the phone with him, and we spoke for 15 minutes, yet he didn't tell me her name, only that it was a she. Maybe they haven't named her yet, he said they just got her last night.

Heh, it's been relevant. My son is nearing the mid 30's, with no human babies yet, so I may not ever become an "official" Grandpa. But I'll still be old. LOL
