A great Civ - style game that stopped working with the advent of windows 98 I think. Are there any plans to bring it onto the catalogue?

Vote (it's an old wanted voting list but it will hopefully be updated with a new one that's visible from the site later this year) and also put your choices [url=http://www.gog.com/en/forum/general/official_beg_thread_this_game_belongs_on_gog/page56]here.

Also welcome aboard the good shop GOGgypop, fellow gogger. :)
Vote number 300 :D
Cheers dood.

NP and again welcome to GOG......make sure to get yourself a cool avatar soon to fill yer little square there and you'll be all set I think.

Also contact GOG staff perhaps as well about this by clicking support button above and then contact us and filling out a form requesting it to be added. It never hurt to try asking am I right? :)

The game was made for windows 98 se :) it's not quite as old as you think. Star Trek licensed games are likely to be very hard for GOG to acquire, though they'd probably make a fortune if they did, given the price some of them go for nowadays.
Space Rangers 1 & 2 and Master of Orion 1 & 2 are somewhat similar games which are available on GOG.... Sword of the Stars (not available on GOG) is my fave though.

BotF actually works in Vista. good luck finding a legal copy for a reasonable price, last time I looked online it was ridiculous, got it from a pre-owned store for £2 about a month later

Yep, my copy works absolutely fine on all the PCs I've tried it on (Win XP and 7 machines). Though the CD's looking a little worn nowadays so I've had to ISO it and squirrel it away in storage.
Let's resurrect the asking a bit. Birth of the Federation, please! :)

Concur. It is only logical.
Licensed games are real tough to get on here (or anywhere). Doubt it will ever happen, sadly.
I'd like to see it, but as mentioned it would probably be hard to get. There's probably other Star Trek games I'd rather see here first, like Klingon Academy.
I had it, did not like it and I think I gave it away unless it's in a box somewhere.

I also had "Star Trek: Voyager – Elite Force", I remember starting it but then I don't know what happened to it. I guess I loaned it and it never came back.
