Kalnor: Sorry if it's been asked a hundred times, I looked through pages and pages of threads and never saw it discussed.

I have been trying to download Icewind Dale. It's a 1.51 GB download. I have pretty slow internet, so it took about twelve hours to load using the GOG downloader. The problem is that it loaded up to 1.49 gb then completely stopped loading. My connection says it's still online. I have Legend of Grimrock on after than, and when I switch the order Grimrock loads without a problem. What is it exactly that's keeping that last little bit from loading?

Thanks!
We've been having a few hiccups on our end with this. Why the IT guys are trying to fix it, the most common fix is to remove either a single chunk file--or the whole download--from the temp folder that the files are downloaded to and also remove the game from your download list. Restart the download and you should be okay.

Sorry you're having problems!

Try removing the game from the queue (this won't remove anything already downloaded) and re-add, should finish the last bit. An update that will soon be released should address those kind of problems.

Kalnor: Thanks for the help!

I logged off so it had to restart the download. Hopefully that'll do it. If not I guess i'll just wait for the update. My other game finished up ok. Anyway, thanks again :)
Removing the game from the list and re-adding it back (or just restarting the downloader) will fix the thing. Don't have to wait for the update to finish up ;)

Kalnor: Well, I restarted it and re-downloaded the whole thing. It got to 1.49 out of 1.51 again. This time it will keep loading, but it's loading at about 200 bytes a second. Not kilobytes, just bytes.

I dunno why that last little bit won't load, but i've spent two days with it loading all day :/

Edit: Down to two bytes per second. Also, this has popped up:

"Unhandled exception has occurred in a component in your application. If you click Continue, the applications will ignore this error and attempt to continue.

Object reference not set to an instance of an object"
Please send me the log file. It should be located under C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\GOG.com on Windows 7/Vista (it may be hidden).
