Do we know anything about the possibility for this games' release on GOG?
I really want to try it out but I also really don't want to get it from Steam.
Despite looking like an indie game, it's an Ubisoft game and uses their Uplay DRM. So in its current state it's not going to happen due to GOG's no-DRM policy, but if it ever gets stripped of the DRM at a later date, it seems possible -- there are some older Ubisoft games on GOG. And we can always hope that GOG Galaxy shakes up the industry and draws some big-name games, but who knows at this point. :)

Keep a positive outlook and nag Ubisoft about bringing it here. Uplay may be part of the game as it is many other titles but that doesn't mean it has to be the end of the line. Gamers have a voice too :)

It wouldn't be the first time Uplay has been modified. Let them know what you think and eventually Uplay may be completely optional instead of mandatory for each game.

Like Rakuru said, it's not even a proper Steam game. Even though they put it on Steam, they still require it to use Uplay on top of it. So what do you think are the odds that they will release it DRM-free on GOG anytime soon? I mean we're talking about the company that recently recognized that, as it is, DRM Can't Stop Piracy, and therefor it must be renamed to be more effective (DRM = punishing a paying player, UPlay = awesome online service not available to poor pirates). :P
At this point, I'm pretty sure Ubisoft's done. There's a couple games in the back catalogue they might be willing to bring back, but for the most part, I don't expect Ubisoft to come around again.
