Just installed this one as a gift from the missus, can't seem to get a complete display working. I'm on W8.1 with a 1080P TV as the display, can't get a working solution for the life of me. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I think you have a better chance of getting an appropriate answer if you post it on Warlords Battlecry series' forum.

Are you getting any picture at all, or just a black screen? Or can you just see part of the game screen? If it's the later, then it sounds like a resolution issue (actually all of it might be due to resolution issues). Try to change your desktop resolution to something smaller, if you can't change it in game. Some screens can handle only certain resolutions, and this can cause trouble when trying to play certain games.

Warlords Battlecry 3 can only work in 4:3 mode as far as I know, up to 1600x1200. There is no widescreen patch.
