Heroes of Might and Magic series, Assassin's Creed, Rayman Origins, FarCry 1 and 2, modern Prince of Persia games, and many more unforgettable Ubisoft titles 60% off

Welcome to our unbelievable [url=http://www.gog.com/promo/ubisoft_weekend_promo_020514]Unbelievably Ubi promo, celebrating one of the most unique modern game publishers: Ubisoft, famous for releasing original titles, full of pure gaming magic and memorable moments. This weekend you can get more than 40 Ubisoft titles 60% off. Amazing action-adventures in the ancient or medieval Middle East or dystopian future, first-person perspective shooters telling the stories of secret agents or special forces operatives stranded on dangerous islands, strategies set in fantastic lands, the distant future, or our very own mundane reality, colorful platformers, racing games, classic dungeon-crawling RPGs--all this and more waiting for you and tempting you with low, low prices. Let's put some titles in the spotlight, shall we?

Heroes of Might and Magic is a game series so prominent, that it surely needs no introduction. In fantasy turn-based strategies it's quite hard to find a match for this legendary saga that challenges our strategic and management skills since the year 1996. Based on the successful setting of the fan-favorite classic cRPG, Might and Magic, it achieved a great balance between accessibility and complexity that resonates perfectly with gamers. After all these years Heroes of Might and Magic 3: Complete Edition is still considered by many to be the perfect turn-based strategy title. Some fans, however, prefer the more modern Heroes of Might and Magic 5: Bundle, that takes the beloved mechanics into the beautiful realm of 3D graphics. That's only two titles, though. All of our Might and Magic games, strategy and RPG alike, can be found 60% off in the promo page.

is an iconic character and his platformer games entertained generations of gamers. As many other platformer series, his adventures also took a turn into the realm of 3D. They were quite successful at that, mind you, but there's something about the run-and-jump genre, that simply makes it work best in two dimensions. [url=http://www.gog.com/game/rayman_origins]Rayman Origins takes us back to the 2D roots of platformer gaming, and reminds us why this kind of graphics and this kind of gameplay is a perfect match. Plus, it introduces a lot of fresh ideas while doing so.

Far Cry and Far Cry 2: Fortune's Edition will take you on a dangerous voyage through breathtaking locations filled to the brim with dangerous foes and ruthless beasts. The first one released 10 years ago, those elaborate FPS titles were deemed revolutionary--not only in the graphics layer, but also for their huge open worlds allowing for semi-sandbox gameplay. Are you ready to face the tropical heat?

All of those Ubisoft games, and many more, can be yours for 60% off this weekend. Go to the Unbelievably Ubi to check out the details of this Unbelievably Ubi sale. The offer ends on Tuesday, May 6 at 3:59AM GMT. Don't miss out!
Ubisoft is good and I already have all games I want to have from them.
But is there a chance that we on GOG get more games from Ubi? Those that use Uplay.

Fever_Discordia: I'd like to start an assault on the Settlers
No comment. :P
Nice promo because 60% discount is decent and good games are in the list. With a tiny bit more discount (70% or 80%) it would even be an excellent promo.
Would be nice if Chessmaster 9000 was included in the promo. GoG, please bring it back if you can. I'll love you forever if you do :(

*shrugs* One man's settler is another man's invader!
Nice promo, picked up Rayman Origins as that has been high on my wishlist for a while.

I'd love to see some of their most recent games here but DRM free of course. There are a number of games I haven´t bought from them because of Uplay. It's a shame really.
I wonder if the sales figures they get from Gog could maybe persuade them to eventually release even just a couple of games to "test the waters".
Oh well, I can dream can´t I?
Any opinions about Imperialism games? Which one is better? Or perhaps they are significantly different and it would be advisable to get both?

I would like to draw your attention to the first Warlords Battlecry because part of its campaign is quite unique. You start as a neutral commander and after two chapters (several missions in each of them) you have to choose between the path of light and the path of darkness (two chapters each). While neutral and light parts are pretty much standard fantasy story the path of darkness is special. In most RTS games good and evil are a matter of convention: orcs are ugly and brutal therefore must be evil, elves are beautiful and honorable - good etc, etc. But actually both sides want to accomplish the same - eradicate the opponent. In Warlords Battlecry, however, if you choose the path of darkness you'll eventually become Evil and I mean Evil with a capital letter! And the story how it happens, step by step, is perfectly told! I won't say anything more because I don't want to spoil it but storywise it's one of my favorite RTS games ever (if not the very best one). That's a least my humble opinion, your experience might be different but for 2.39$ you don't risk that much.

I have both imperialism games and really enjoy them both. I had Imp2 as a kid and so when Imp1 came out here I got it. I have to say, even with the nostalgia factor, I now prefer Imp1. Imperialism 2 has the added element of exploration and native tribes, but Imp1 does a better job of trade in my opinion. They are both a lot of fun though, and the graphics aged remarkably well.

I don't think you can go wrong with either, but my recommendation would be for Imp1. If you really like that check out the second game. Other than the exploration part of Imp2 I think they are pretty similar.

Nice promo. Sadly, I bought everything I have been interested in day 1 (3). A majority of Ubi games I would want to own is newer (9).

Only thing there to tempt me would be Beyond Good and Evil, but, I have the console version and the PC version is supposed to be a pita to get working and ubi never fixed the Y axis.
Completed my Prince of Persia collection and bought Pod Gold and Speed Busters on a whim.

Nice promo!
So HOMM 2 and 3 are fine games - should I get 4, or will that just spoil the series for me? best to skip straight to 5?

Invaders!...Fighting!
Invaders!...Marauding!

That sort of game would beat Settlers any day IMO.

A Settlers diss?

Get the rope boys, we got us a miscreant to hang! :D
Excellent, I think this time I'm good. While I like to see "you own all the games here" type messages I don't think the 5 I don't own are compelling enough or really my thing this time around.

Dzsono: Now Ubi needs to strip Uplay off everything else for the ultimate catalogue :)
Correct, if they just strip that off their other games and bring them to GOG I'd be buying some more of their games. Uplay, Iplay not.
