So I've run into an issue a couple of times now, where the version of nGlide included in a GOG game package is out of date, and either will not run on my computer or runs but with significant problems. Pandemonium is a recent example (GOG package uses version 0.99 which results in a black screen).
I have been told that in order to fix the problem I have to install the latest version of nGlide manually (1.03 - which I have done), then go into the GOG game directory and "delete all nGlide-associated files" which will force the game to use the updated version installed on my computer.
Except that despite having done quite an extensive search, I cannot find a list of exactly what files I need to delete. The only ones I know of for certain are glide.dll, glide2x.dll, and glide3x.dll. Does anyone have a comprehensive list of the others? What about 3Dfxspl*.dll, for example?
