Hey guys,

I bought Neverwinter Nights when it first game out brilliant game, love it to bits. However, I've never heard of the Diamond Edition so I was wondering how it's diffirent to the original release of the game?

Cheers.
Diamond Edition includes the two expansions (Shadows of Undrentide and Hordes of the Underdark) and three premium modules (Kingmaker, Shadowguard, and Witch's Wake).
The OC is really just a long tutorial. The expansions, premium modules, the custom modules and the persistent worlds really make this game amazing. I really didn't think GOG could get NWN, but I am pleased to be wrong! :)
Sounds impressive. For $10 I might have to get it for the extra content!
It's worth it just for the engine so that you can get the fan-made content. It's far from amateur - most people agree that the best fan-made modules are better than the original campaign. Even if you just stick to the modules in the Hall Of Fame on the Neverwinter Vault, that's still probably 500 hours of game time that you get!
Thanks for the suggestion, I'll check that out.

to clarify, THIS diamond edition includes 3 premium modules... I bought the disk version from bioware back in the day and it included only NWN original, Shadows of undertide, and hordes of the underdark.
the edition on GOG is diamond + 3 premium modules.

Incorrect. Diamond has ALWAYS included those three premium items. What you're talking about is the Platinum Edition, which has the game and both expansions but no Kingmaker bundle.

You are right, I confused platium and diamond editions, thank you for clarifying...
So:
Gold edition = NWN1 + first expansion
Platinum edition = NWN1 + first expansion + second expansion
Diamond edition = NWN1 + first expansion + second expansion + 3 premium modules.

there are extra premium modules that are no longer offered for sale. only way to get those is to have purchased them already before they stopped selling them. (which I did).
