In the massive amount of preview footage from the early dungeon level there was a sidequest to save a woman being mistreated by the guards. I explored the entire dungeon but never found this event or that woman, as far as I know.

I know the moment was hopped on by some journalists as "sexist" so I was wondering if they removed the event entirely? Or did my choices earlier somehow make it not appear?

I don't think so, you saved his son at he begining (spared his life) so you get to save his son , if you kill him you get to save his mother , i believe i am not 100% sure

It's there, you just didn't find the trapdoor leading to that part of the dungeon.

The baroness is still there, as previous posters said. Also, she is still bare-breasted, so no censorship happened here.

I killed her son and the consequence comic said something along the lines of those that couldn't make allies met their end and drove their loved ones into deals with those they hated most. I'm assuming that as her was not there to protect her from Shilard that he was free to make the political move of rescuing the baroness himself. Perhaps if her son was still alive that could not have happened and it would be Geralt, not Shilard, who saved her from the torture chamber. Im my playthrough he is taking her from the chamber as Geralt arrives there.

If you didn't kill her son, Aryan, then he will appear in her place. She only appears if you kill him, the only difference taking a different route though the jail achieves is where you meet them.

Then you guys might have missed her - you had to look through a hole in the wall and sneak into the torture chamber. After you deal with the torturer, Shilard enters.

I assume that if you ignored this sequence he still comes in, but the baroness might be a bit less pretty now... For the sake of censorship, yes. But for me personally it's getting into dark teritory. The context of the scene is that of brutal interrogation and torture, which by itself is a heavy subject. Adding sexual degradation to that mix made the whole scene so dark I wouldn't even think of those fine pair as of sexual attributes. I'm fine with it, and it's bold of CDPR to go in this direction. But I can understand if some people might feel uneasy.

I killed the son. I did meet a woman but it was in a room with the ambassador and she was fully clothed.

In any event it sounds like it is choice dependent, which is AWESOME. So no complaints here.

They've been warning everyone it's a mature-audience targeted game. They didn't let us down on that one, I think it's much more so than the first installment of the series.
