Hello everyone!

I recently downloaded the Enhanced Edition patch and applied it to my Witcher 2 game and decided to start over yet again and I notice something happening with it.

After finishing the prologue there is a small cutscene(from what I can hear) with Dandelion talking about Yennefer(what Triss is currently saying to Geralt),but the scene itself doesn't show at all,I get only a black screen.

This problem has occured after first cartoonish memory cutscene during the final dialogue in the interrogation room with Roche.Screen went black for a few seconds while they were doing some dialogue and I had to skip some in order to continue.

Anyone else have this problem?

It happened to me too. I noticed that in the witcher site forums people who complained about it had one or two parts from the predownloaded patch corrupted. The have since fixed it, but maybe the gog version still has the same two parts broken.

I actually had a corrupted Core0 package and I found online that in order to install my Enhanced Edition I had to download from the witcher site Part 1 and 2 of the patch for it to work.I did it like that and I could install it and yet the problem persists.

I really hope someone has an fix for that,I really want to see the extra content this patch provides(especially the cutscenes).

I uninstalled the k-lite codec pack I had in my system, I'm going to try again to see if it is codec related.

Had this problem, is there a solution?

This actually worked.

I just finished Chapter 1 a few hours ago and the cutscenes worked.Guess I will have to get used to "movie like" view with black stripes from here on out,until they will fix it.
