so i didnt play Witcher but i have thought about playing this one and frankly all the negative reports have kinda got me wondering if 50 bucks is worth it. i know their are not any patches yet and people are having issues with their fps. will mine work decently enough? game-debate seems to think so.

Sounds more like you're bragging about your rig. I'm kinda jealous.

And it should run fine.

I have a dual-core 3.16, 2gb ram and a 512mb 8800gt. I play on medium (or maybe high) with the SSOA turned off.

Don't pay too much attention to the negative reports. There are also a phenomenal amounts of these on a new release. I've had a very good experience so far.

All I can advise is try it and see :)
