So can anyone try finishing the fight from my save file and then upload it and give a link here ,becouse no matter how many times i have tried i just cant get to the window where a should hit the spacebar and because of that i just cant finish the damn fight.Last night i tried like 2 hours or so and nothing worked(neither of those helps : reloading earlier save,restarting the game or even reinstaling it ) .

I will be really greatiful if someone do me that favor.Here is the save

If the space bar is the problem, turn off Difficult QTE.

I gues there should me something else wrong,becouse i turned that option off in very early stage of the game (didnt know what it does,silly me),just googled it thought.So as far i understand,there should not be a space bar hitting window for me.Then the problem is that when i fill the previos window (lmb hitting one),nothing happens and i just fall off the tentacle.

I collected the loot and finished talking to Sila. There isn't much can do abut that, she talks to you immediately after killing the boss. Nothing happens, she's a prude, you can't plough her anyway.

Hints for Kayran: Too bad you didn't have the trap for the Kayran, that gives you a freebie tentacle kill.

HInt for QTE: Don't spam buttons during QTE. Only press the buttons it asks for. So as when you see the QTE to press the left mouse button quickly to stab, do so. But as soon as that's gone, you don't press anything. And just wait for the Space QTE to appear and press that once.

Just for future reference, if you were getting thrown off and not dieing, the next step was to run up the crumbled architecture for an auto-kill.

I assume that you play the game at low specs and there's a slight input lag. You can easily finish the QTE yourself if you put the game in smaller resolution, windowed mode. That's what did it for me.

having same Exact problem.were would i find my save file to attach and If someone could finish from saved game. I been tiring for 4 days have a trap cut of 4 tentacles and fill up bar the get dropped to ground like 300 time of that and here i am. :(

I'm having the same Problem . I have a trap ll 9 good gear, setting to lowest possible. keep getting dropped to ground. Will you help me too Please? 4 days of disappointment and sorrow.:(

need someone to Please Do the Kayran Boss for me. I keep filling up the bar and getting dropped back to the ground over & over I tried everything. If some would help me I would be very grateful http://www.mediafire.com/?cmo7wxy8d76yfc9 . Hope this works Or I'm finished :(

I am using a pc with pentium 4 (3.00ghz) and 2gb ram. So you can understand that I am playing Witcher 2 a little bit slower. I am having a problem defeating Kayran Boss. At the last time when it says that to press the left button of mouse I press and it fulfills. But it didn't work. I saw the video of it and I did like that. So PLEASE take my save game from website below and kill that boss.PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This same thing happened to me too. When I lowered the resolution per Penguin 227's suggestion, it worked perfect.
