So, I played through the prologue section, and then went through the dungeon... however, I never found any of my items that I had before... no big deal, except I had Raven's armour and the Moonblade imported from the Witcher 1... do I ever get them back? Or do you have to go on without any of the items you collected? Was there a chest I missed?
hmm that kind of answers my earlier question

was wondering if since it transfers over those amazing gear if you lose them at some time

cause otherwise it would feel like you would be having those equiped most the game due to them being soo good and thus ignore all the new equipment they spent the time to make.

i'm going to assume you migth get them back LATER when there is armor/weapons that are equivelent in strength as those, as to not make those imports game breaking.

I think I got my nice blue coat back at the beginning of Chapter one, on the boat. As for the Moonblade, didn't it fly away with the Dragon?
Minor Spoilers here:

Once you fully escape the dungeon and after the riverboat scene, you should get your inventory from pre-dungeon back (and probably be encumbered as a result!)

Those imported items are fairly quickly outclassed anyway, Hinscher.

I've heard the Raven armor is simply not that powerful in this part.

good to hear.

one thing i hated about dragon age was these special dlc armors and stuff were like post game equipment. like that armor, and then that meteor sword. talk about taking the fun out of finding new swords

i hate when you get stuff that is amazing instantly. be like if you got bigorons sword from that kid blocking the great deku tree in Ocarina of Time
speaking of the imported armor/weapons

i'm trying to think of my choices in the first witcher. i beat it completely neutral in that i got the nuetral ravin armor and the nuetral ending

BUT, i'm not sure on my decisions regarding my friends, trist, and others. is trist still going to be super pissed tha ti slept with the toher girl? is that other girl even in this game?

Intrestingly enough, I got the Moonblade back at the start of Chapter 1 (as well as everything else). Apparently, it was the standard silver sword that got lost to the dragon. I had an note in my journal about needing a new sword forged, but, it updated automatically since I had the Moonblade.

Oh, that's nice! They've decided it's not fair to take away such a pretty toy for so long...
