I would just like to chime in and say that I have the same issue. Here is what I've done so far:
Downloaded the game using the GOG Downloader.
Installed the game without any issues.
When the launcher asked if I wanted to download Enhanced Edition, I did.
Once the patch was downloaded, I realised that I didn't have space to also install it on the same drive, so I moved it to another drive. However, during installation, I got a "pack0.dzip" error, telling me the source file was corrupted. A quick Google said I should download and replace three files in the patch download folder, so I tried that but got the same error message.
Hoping to avoid downloading 12.25gb again, I reinstalled The Witcher 2 from the installation files, but I got the same error. So I reinstalled Witcher 2 again (since it won't even start the launcher after failed patching) and set the EE Patch to download overnight, this time downloading directly to the drive I wanted to install from.
However, this morning I got the exact same message as before, on a fresh install of Witcher 2.
I am currently re-downloading The Witcher 2 from the GOG website, but I honestly don't have high hopes. The installer checks for file-integrity before installation, and made no complaints the last 3 times I installed the Witcher 2 .
Please provide a solution. I would dearly like to play this game.
Update: As it turns out, the GOG Downloader has also stopped working. It now silently closes on start-up with no error messages. This problem persists on restart.
