I'm curious if it is better to kill Aryan in a duel or to convince him to walk. I killed him last time and I didn't realize I'd run into his mother later. Did I make it hard on myself by killing him? Thank you.

I'm pretty sure that by killing him you lock yourself out of the "Strong Back" ability which allows you to hold 50 more weight.
Hmm. How useful is that ability? I would feel better about letting him go, unless he comes back later to cause me trouble.

Its fairly useful considering the lack of storage in this game. Honestly though, since I learned to stop picking up every piece of leather/cloth/iron ore I've been fine on weight. I've been under 250 most of the time so it isn't required by any means though it is helpful.

Letting him go wont cause you any trouble later in the game.
Thank you for the reply. I just reached flotsam, it would be a little bit of a back-track to reload and let him go, especially since the dragon parts and the prison escape drove me nuts. I'll give it some thought. Thanks again.

No problem.
I'm a bit pissed that I killed him & didn't reap the benefits of keeping him alive... >_>
SPOILER

He wont cause you any trouble.
