1. What does it give me to import my character from witcher 1? (i don't have mt save games because it was long time ago, so i will have to play it again, even though i am sure i will enjoy it)

2.Can anyone give me a guide for the talent trees?... in all RPGs i always find myself just screwing up in this sections.... from my first game play i figured that the alchemy tree isn't that usefull as the other 2.....(played on normal)
Anyway, can someone bring his insights? I if import my character i want probably go through the insane mode, so i don't want to screw this up.....

If you have any save games, the installer will look for them in your ...My Documents\The Witcher\ folder. If you don't, there is no way to import your old character. If you want to do an import, use Google to find someone else's to use.

Do you understand what Insane mode is? I recommend starting a little lower as the Prologue can be quite demanding on your weak starting character, even with an import.

I can't recommend enough doing the first playthrough on Normal or Hard, probably Normal because it takes time to get used to the mechanics. Insane mode will require intimate knowledge of use of bombs, traps, potions, magic, and sword play. You simply won't have that when you're doing first playthrough.
