^^^ GOG obviously otherwise I wouldn't bother posting here smartass. I tried and it said this game had some error and verify files which I did three times.

I guess I just got unlucky and my download corrupted. :(

GOG version comes with a CD key emailed to you!..

The CD-key is on that page, in case it didn't get sent to you through email. You don't need it since the patches, though. People post here who have all kinds of different versions. Be respectful or leave.

You don't have to register. Just install the patch under where the download links for the game were (there's a scroll bar) and you should be good to go.

Perhaps I should buy it yet again off of steam. CD projecj get at keast 39% right? Sod the actual buyer.

The launcher doesn't have access to internet..else it would have showed a Lightning icon on the top left corner of the Witcher 2 image (instead of a pirate/skull image).

Check your firewall..

Various users had your same problem and they found a solution in this forum, check the threads about problems upgrading to patch 1.3. Btw, change your attitude or nobody will feel compelled to help you.
