Hi,

I would like to buy The Witcher 2 here on GOG, because I could download it from anywhere and it´s DRM free - BUT! The store screen doesn´t include Czech language. Is there any language pack or do I have to buy the retail version from Comgad (ex-CD Projekt Czech)?

Thanks for response.
Hi. According to http://en.thewitcher.com/support/#q29 czech should be included in patch 1.2 But I have even better news for you, I'm also Czech and I bought the game yesterday so if you can wait until evening, I'll try if I can get Czech langugage to the game and report here the result :).

Sure, I can wait without any problem. Thanks!
Well, evening is here and I have good news, Czech works perfectly. The only thing you have to do is to patch the game to 1.35 (according to FAQ 1.2 should be enough). For some reason automatic updater from the Witcher site doesn't work, so you have to use the "gog one", which you can download on the same place as the game (it's part of additional content). Enjoy! :)

This should work for every official language version.
Yeah Czech is included for all versions, GOG/Steam/Retail through patch, like all other languages. This is CD Projekt! : )
Hi.

In the witcher 1 I like to play with polish voices and spanis subtitltes.

Is this possible in TW2? The game just have thre languages for the voices.

I'm looking at the options screen now, and Spanish is indeed one of the text languages you can choose from. So, yes, you can play it with Polish voice-overs, and Spanish subtitles. :)
