Hands down, one of the BEST first person horror shooters I have EVER played.
For anyone into Clive Barkers material, this game was the closest thing to walking into one of his horrific, detailed worlds. Each map more twisted and hellish than the last, with all manner of grotesque enemies to face off against.
Though it can take a little getting used to at first, one of the games best features )in my opinion) is the ability to switch back and forth between each of your team mates and manually take control of their bodies in real time,
Each squad member has very different weapons, occult powers and playstyles (my personal favorites are the sniper and the blood witch) and gives you a lot of range how you want to approach a fight.
I also appreciate that the game was clearly made for a mature audience, as it features the characters literally descending into a twisted hellscape, filled with body horror, mutilation, torture, etc.
This game is one of my all time favourites on the Xbox 360, but I was never able to try out the PC version (which I heard is graphically superior)
With its unique take on occult horror, first person action, and squad based tactics, I think this game really stands out amongst the pack, and deserves a spot in the GOG library
