Story:The PS1 Destruction Derby titles would put you in the seat of a high powered vehicle, in either an arena or a track, and the target was to race to the finish, while causing as much destruction to the other cars as possible.
Now comes the PS2 sequel. Because this is now on the PS2, the capabilities are much higher, so now there is a vastly improved graphics engine, physics engine, and levels.

Not the best DD game that was made in my personal opinion, HOWEVER, it is worthy of existing and playing because you can tell there was going to be a different direction they wanted to go but felt like they stopped, since they gave the drivers some actual backstories and lore, some lore kinda grim honestly. But it is an ok game and since the other DD games are on the Dreamlist, if GOG were to go this route, it could be a good bundle deal for snapping up!
Tokyo Xtreme Racer DriftThis fifth installment in the Tokyo Xtreme series, focuses more on the "drifting" style of racing and has two different distinctive challenges of racing included in the game. Players can race professionally during day races, earning money to upgrade their cars and try to get the big sponsorships. During night races, players can race for pride, along with the ability to bet money and even car parts.
Players will race in the scenic mountains of Japan, in real life courses on uphill and downhill races and even during varying weather and seasonal conditions, effecting the handling of the cars as they would in real life. There is also a rivalry battling system in the game, making the races more dangerous as opponents try to stop them at all costs.
It also features real licensed high-end vehicles such as Nissan, Toyota, Subaru, Audi, Alfa Romeo, Mini, Volkswagen among many others.
Need for Speed: Underground 2Need For Speed Underground 2 takes place in Bayview after the events of Need for Speed: Underground. The prologue begins with the player driving in a Nissan Skyline R34 in Olympic City (though the racing scenes are actually in Bayview), the setting of NFS:UG. He then receives a race challenge from a rather ominous personality who offers him a spot on his crew, but "won't take 'no' for an answer." The player races off — despite Samantha's warnings — only to be ambushed by a mysterious driver in a rage that totals his Skyline. The driver, who has a unique scythe tattoo, makes a call confirming the accident, and the flashback fades out.Trending Action
