Genres:Adventure, Platform, Puzzle

Story:Gift is a strange anti-hero who must bring seven little garden gnomes to a self-proclaimed Snow White: in order to accomplish its mission, Gift will have to visit seven crazy and parodistic worlds (like Tipanic and Star Stress!). Two of the authors are the comics artist Régis Loisel and Philippe Ulrich. This 3D puzzle-platformer was developed by Eko Software and published in 2001 by Cryo Interactive, the team behind the Game Boy Color edition of the game. Also, Loisel created an animated series of 8 episodes in 2005 (VHS/DVD) based on this title.Show more

I loved this game as a kid. It was the first platformer I ever really played. To this day I still return to it every once in a while, though I still have to sit down long enough to actually finish it. I always loved the different unlockable abilities, the variety concering the platforming and puzzle-solving-segments as well as the option to collect extra stuff. But what made this game stand out in particular to me was it's humour and all the easter eggs and references to other franchises.

Mega Man X8 16-bit
Mega Man X8 16-bitA fan game made by AlyssonDaPaz. Bringing the original PS2 classic, MegaMan X8 back to it's 16-bit roots! Play as X and blast through a familiar yet fresh experience! Mega Man X8 16-bit is a reimagining of the PS2 original with SNES styled graphics. The aim was to demake X8 in a similar feel to the first three Mega Man X games, while trying to actually finish a low-scope fangame. After two and a half years of development, version 1.0 was released in September 7th 2024, making the game fully playable from start to finish with X, but Zero and Axl are not featured in the game in any capacity. In addition to the 16-bit graphics, the game differs from the original game by offering slightly different level designs at times, armor effects, and boss weapons.

Clockwork Knight 2
Clockwork Knight 2Clockwork Knight 2 uses identical gameplay to that of its predecessor, right down to using all the same items and having four rooms with three levels each, plus a final boss. However, there are three minor additions: Four playing cards are scattered around each level. Spinning all four cards gives players a Gold Key; collecting all 32 cards in the game yields a secret code. There are some forced scrolling levels in which Pepper rides on the back of his steed Barobaro. Attacking is done not with Pepper's key in these levels, but by firing Barobaro's head at enemies. An additional game mode called "Bosses Galore" lets the player control either Pepper or Ginger in fighting all the bosses of both Clockwork Knight games one after the other. Doing well in this mode is said to unlock a mini-game.
