Story:Six board games are transformed to the computer screen in the third Hoyle's release. Snakes & Ladders, Backgammon, Yacht / Yahtzee, Checkers, Dominoes and Pachisi / Parcheesi all feature, with animated graphics and sound effects. As there is no time-sensitive action, and the game rules are familiar, these packs were designed to appeal to a wider range of people than most computer games.
At least one human player is required - other players can be human or computer. The 18 computer opponents from the first Hoyle's game return, many of them modeled on other Sierra characters such as Larry Laffer, and again some play 'good' and some play 'evil'.Show more

But you can certainly challenge him and many other Sierra adventure regulars in this third installment of various home games; a better rainy day kit than the actual board games because you can't misplace the pieces and Rodger Wilco is a better sport than your aunt, anyways.

Armored Core: Nine BreakerArmored Core: Nine Breaker brings back the super strong "Nine Ball" mech who appeared in the original PlayStation Armored Core. Those who can defeat "Nine Ball" (which likely means you if you see the end credits of Nine Breaker) are labeled as the true most powerful mech around, the "Nine Breaker." In Armored Core: Nine Breaker, players play through two main modes of play: training mode and arena mode. Training mode features 150 programs that test players' skills. Players can try out programs that focus on attack, defense, movement, "technic," "special" and "overall." Each of these areas are further divided, with attack comprised of multiple tests in accuracy, power, judgment, "hit - single" and "hit - melee." Arena mode is a battle mode in which players take on other mechs in battle. Ultimate Soccer Manager '98Ultimate Soccer Manager or USM is a association football management video game serie for MS-DOS, Commodore Amiga and Windows 95, produced by Impressions and distributed by Sierra from 1995 to 1999. The game was a massive hit in Europe (except in Germany, where it was worse received due to some similarities with managers produced by local software houses such as Software 2000 and Ascaron), although it gained little support in Japan.
The series was noted for its micromanagement, where the player had to do the job of the team manager and much of that of the chairman, from player training up to bank balance management. Other well-known features were to bung an opposing team for preferential market treatment, rig or betting on the outcome of the players' team matches. Interviews after the match where some answers were printed with different interpretations on the next days' newspaper (the player could reply a question about the game with "It was a game of two halves", and "He amazed us after the game by giving us an insight into the rules of football" would be printed on the newspapers).

Players use a guitar-shaped controller (purchased separately) to simulate playing rock music by hitting notes as they scroll towards the player. Rocks the 80s is an incremental title in the Guitar Hero series, rather than a full sequel. No changes in gameplay from Guitar Hero II have been introduced to this game. As implied by the game's title, the game features a 1980s theme, consisting of songs from the decade and playable characters, fashions, and artwork that reflect the time period.
The game was not as well-received as the prior two Guitar Hero games, due to the lack of new gameplay features and reduced soundtrack.
