Mad Rat Dead is the first piece of media I loved so much that I went on to make my own stories and art :) it holds a special place in my heart and I want more people to experience it and maybe grow the modding community! It's a rhythm game with interesting mechanics so there's plenty of room to experiment :)
I'll admit I haven't finished this game yet, but it's really unique. The music is really catchy and the art is absolutely great, and the writing can be really funny at times. I'm honestly shocked there isn't a PC version of this game!

The Music was all it took to make me want to play it. When i started to play it, it was one of the most unique gameplay experiences i ever had, each level felt unique and fun especially because of the amazing OST, the combination of rythem and platforming was really well done but two thing that made love the game so much is the artstyle and story, i never was so emotional at a story for awhile. I hope that more people get to experience Mad Rat Dead and more cool stuff comes from it.

I LOVE THIS GAME I CRIED EVERYTIME I PLAYED IT AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH ITS WORTH IT It's story is so powerful and is protrayed so well imo I also met a bunch of my friends through this game so it holds a special place in my heart SO YEAH PLEASEEEEEEEEEE
This game is downright beautiful- from the music, to the art, to the message. The gameplay is enjoyable and the game can be replayed pretty much forever with all the song/level combos you can make. The games message genuinely made me face the hard truth of mortality, and made me feel more at peace with it. This game is a wonderful experience, and I always recommend it to people I meet. Mad Rat Dead is one of the first games I felt compelled to buy a physical copy of (multiple, in fact) and I’m proud to have it displayed. This game is truly wonderful.

I remember idly listening to the games soundtrack as i was playing with friends, and eventually being unable to focus on what i was doing because i was bopping so hard. I decided to buy the game immediately without so much as watching a trailer. I was Not disappointed. For me, the music is more of what i have memories with. I'd tuck my switch into my hoodie pocket on the bus and blindly tap the beat to whatever song I was listening to because it felt good.

Resident Evil Code: Veronica
Resident Evil Code: VeronicaResident Evil Code: Veronica is the fourth video game in Capcom's Resident Evil survival horror series. The game continues the survival horror gameplay of its predecessors: the protagonist explores the surroundings, fighting monsters and solving puzzles. However, it is the first game in the series to do away with pre-rendered backgrounds using a fully polygonal 3D engine instead, which allows for features such as real-time lighting and camera movement. Still, such movements are only used sparingly, and the use of perspective is mostly unchanged from earlier installments: the camera automatically switches to different static angles showing protagonists, monsters and rooms from different spooky viewpoints.

Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem
Eternal Darkness: Sanity's RequiemEternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem is a psychological horror action adventure, released in 2002 by Nintendo for the Gamecube. It tells the stories of twelve characters that span across the world and two millennia who have to deal with ancient forces of evil which have been trying to manifest themselves in our world. Chapters take place in Ancient Rome, Persia, the Middle East, and modern-day Rhode Island. Throughout the game, the protagonists will have access to several weapons appropriate for their era, from bastard sword & gladius to flintlock pistol and shotgun. The game features an involved Magic system, which allows different spells to be created through the combination of runes. These spells can attack enemies, dispel illusions, and heal both the body and items. Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem also has a unique feature called Sanity. If an enemy sees a character, their Sanity meter drops. When Sanity gets low, hallucinations begin to plague the character. Walls bleed, voices whisper from nowhere, the camera gets disoriented. Sanity can be restored by dealing a finishing move on a dying enemy, or with spells or some items.

Freelancer
FreelancerEight hundred years prior to the start of our story, bitter conflict divided all of mankind. A handful of colonists struck out on their own to begin anew - far away from the Earth and its turmoil. Several ships were launched with enough equipment and supplies to give the hundreds onboard a fighting chance - but since the area around far-off Sirius had never been surveyed, no one really knew what to expect. What they found was a new frontier of free-flowing natural resources, unexplored territories, great wonders and lurking dangers. Each ship, representing the clusters of people and their earthly place of origin, settled into different parts of the galaxy pre-selected by their ship-board computer to give them the best chance of survival. Life was hard in the beginning, but over the 800 years the different colonies prospered and expanded their territories, claiming more and more systems for their own. Survival and propagation eventually led to growth and profit as each of the colonies developed specialties and fostered commerce. As the colonies grew and time passed their connections with their roots on Earth dwindled and they lost their memories of the conflicts of the past. Soon their attention was dominated by new, more immediate conflicts. Feelings of lost ancestral connection spurred anachronism in the look of the great cities, and created a somewhat distorted image of each colony's cultural heritage. In the ever-expanding outer edge of the territories, frontier lawlessness prevailed. The Houses: Each shipboard colony that left Earth carried some memory of its origins in its name. The Liberty carried Americans, The Bretonia flew from The United Kingdom and surrounding territory, The Kusari from Asia, and the Rheinland launched with Germanic cargo. As each ship settled and colonies began to expand, they knew little about each other and their advancing development. Finally, little by little, the individual colonies found each other and began to set up trade routes to link their systems for commerce and solidarity. Today, with each colony firmly rooted in its respective corner of the galaxy, the colonies rely heavily on each other for trade and industry but also compete for resources and new territories in the Border Worlds. The colonies mandate member governments in "The New Alliance" within the Sirius sector. To control conflicts, each colony has forged alliances and treaties with others as they have grown. Competition remains fierce, however. Struggles rage for supremacy in business, commerce, resources, power and control. There can be tenuous peace between colonies' political agendas, but the grabs for holdings constantly unsettle the volatile frontier.
