The special editions for Monkey Islan 1+2 are on GOG for a long time already, MI1 is also compatible to the faimus "hair patch" :) When I bought the GOG version I was first a bit troubled by it not starting at all. The mystery's answer was, that I bought the game originally when I still had a 16:10 monitor and was now trying to run it on a 1080p screen, which could not display the resolution. If that happens to you, locate the .ini file and change the resolution from 1200 to 1080.
