Why Mortal Kombat XL Needs to Be on GOG and Why It’s a Top 3 MK Game with Some of the Best DLC Ever Mortal Kombat XL isn’t just a complete edition—it’s a celebration of everything that makes Mortal Kombat one of the most legendary fighting franchises ever. A definitive version of Mortal Kombat X, it bundles all the DLC characters, skins, and content into one brutal, content-rich package. And it 100% deserves to be on GOG, where it can live DRM-free and accessible for fans of classic and modern MK alike. What sets MKXL apart is its massive roster, including not just MK staples like Scorpion, Sub-Zero, and Liu Kang, but also incredible guest fighters like Alien, Predator, Jason Voorhees, Leatherface, and the Xenomorph. These DLC fighters didn’t feel like throwaway gimmicks—they were fully fleshed-out with unique moves, fatalities, and styles, making every fight feel fresh. MKXL also refined the mechanics introduced in MKX, offering three variations for each character, letting players pick styles that fit their strategy. It’s deep, fast-paced, and absolutely brutal, with some of the best fatalities in the entire series. The DLC in MKXL wasn’t just add-on fluff—it expanded the game in every direction, from gameplay to visuals to pop culture appeal. Few fighting games have had such strong post-launch support with such iconic characters. Bringing Mortal Kombat XL to GOG would ensure this masterpiece is preserved and celebrated by PC players without DRM barriers. It’s a top 3 Mortal Kombat title because it blends nostalgia, innovation, and content into one legendary package.

One Must Fall: 2097
One Must Fall: 2097Welcome to One Must Fall 2097. This game is an action-fighting game similar to Street Fighter or Mortal Kombat but it has a much more to offer. Once you're into the game, you choose your pilot. Each pilot has different strengths and weaknesses. You may want one that is faster, or that can take a punch or two, or one that just looks good. Each pilot needs a good vehicle, or a robot in this case. You fight other piloted robots. For victory, You gain money, for money, You can buy some upgrades and beat more robots. The economy part of this game is really simple :-), but gives new experience from a simple fighting game. In the background story of the robot-fighting games are multinational corporations. One such corporation, World Aeronautics and Robotics (WAR), runs the entire show. WAR was started as a research institute to provide human-assisted robots for space travel. Their first prototypes were activated in 2009 and were immediately put to use by a conglomeration of companies from Japanamerica to build the first ACTIVE space station. The HAR's were better than conventional robots in that they were completely operated by a single human whose brain controlled the robot's systems via remote. The "pilot" actually "became" the robot for all intents and purposes, but no danger to the pilot was possible. At the end of 21st century You have a chance to write history. You've waited for this night since you were a child. Fifteen years of training will be used tonight. The main prize is waiting...

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Tournament Fighters
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Tournament FightersThe Genesis version uses the standard three-button controller, with only two buttons for attacking (punch and kick). To perform stronger punches or kicks, the player must hold the directional pad towards the opponent while pressing either attack buttons. The third button is used for taunting. Some of the stages in the game feature destroyable scenery that gives the player and their opponent access to new areas in the stage. As well as their special moves, each character has a 'killer' attack which is only accessible when they are close to death and the red part of the characters' life gauge at the top starts flashing. This is done by pressing the Taunt button in conjunction with a specific D-Pad motion. These moves nearly take out the other character's life gauge completely. The game has eight playable characters, which includes the four Turtles and Casey Jones, as well as April O'Neil (whose active role differs from the versions of the character featured in other games), Ray Fillet (a character from the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Adventures comics), and Sisyphus (an original character, named Musha Beetle in the Japanese version). The player can adjust their power and speed after selecting their character. The music in this version was composed by renowned video game composer Miki Higashino, in collaboration with Masanori Adachi.
