A truly great sequel that was well priced, had a legit campaign this time, fun horde mode, and multiple game modes to play on each map. Plus it got jet bikes and no more piercing shield range wonkiness. Sadly another casualty of Games For Windows Live that you can't legally buy anywhere.

Most underrated multiplayer game ever. Insane improvement from the first one, too. Sadly the Windows Live integration made this game a gem lost in time. Would love to play this game again. I could see this game reviving again if it is brought back through GoG. Even if it only has 1 server that's populated, it would be 100% worth it. Will buy it for myself and two friends so we can play together. Playing offline against bots wasn't bad either. Make it happen!
I got this game on Xbox 360 after seeing the one and only TotalBiscuit's strong endorsements of it. He really adored this game when it released and was pushing for its success. For the gameplay it has a lot going for it: maps were decently big and dropping in from orbit was a novel way of respawning. The ebb and flow of taking and losing the control points, which gives control of a base to one team or another complete with a suite of built in defenses, provides a constant objective to focus on whether you choose to stay on defense and protect a base or make an offensive to capture another one. Dynamic combat missions further mixed things up with side objectives, some of which provided a permanent bonus for the rest of the match. Vehicles being delivered by airship anywhere you want them will always be a great sight in any game, reminiscent of that one moment in the first Halo, but that it was happening in a multiplayer game was extra cool to see especially for the era. All with bots for offline/online play (as player fill-ins). For why I'd like to see it on GOG, availability and (fingers crossed) simplicity in accessing its full features. The Steam version is delisted and while it has some lingering keys around it still requires many hoops to jump through just to run, let alone get nearly the full experience (sans ranked play), due to a reliance on both Games For Windows Live (GFWL) and its own shortlived servers that could be fixed up with a new release. As it stands across all versions there are a handful of weapon unlocks requiring Ranked play and are thus no longer accessible through normal means, a whole game mode (Skirmish) that required a small token from official servers just to access and even DLC purchased back in the day no longer official activates due to GFWL shutting down most of its services. GFWL is still required to run the game but as a legacy service there's no guarantee today's limited version of GFWL will remain available forever.
TotalBiscuit drew me to this game and I'd love to have it getting support again, and getting the dead Games for Windows Live pulled from it. The amount of content the game offered was insane, and simple things such as recovering a prototype suit mission would allow you to shape the round with sub objectives. The weapon building also had a ton of options and you more or less got most of the options simply by playing the game eventually. And lets be real dropping from the sky in power armor with enough force to gib an enemy will always be a power move worth some praise. And while TB is no longer with us I'd love to to get a populated server again to remember him some 14 years later.
One of the best Xbox 360 Arcade games ever made. So much fun to hop into a massive lobby of bots and people and drop from the sky to fight for the objectives. I cannot say enough good things about this old masterpiece.
One of my favourite multiplayer shooters. So many great things to do with friends. Not laying anti-air on the objective and putting gun and rocket emplacements down with my friend and taking out crazy amounts of opposition. Really easy to double up player count limits for constant action. DLC rounded out the game really nicely with a bit more variation of firepower. Really fun game.

Beach-Head II
Beach-Head IIBeach-Head II features the player pursuing the eponymous Dictator in several ways. There are four levels in the game. In the first level, called Attack, the player deploys soldiers along a path with walls to cover him from the dictator's gun. The objective is to destroy the gun. The second level involves rescuing the prisoners from deadly obstacles by clearing them with a gun. The third level's objective is to escape from the area by flying a helicopter with the prisoners out of the dictator's fortress. Finally the player and the dictator face off, on opposite cliffs, separated by water. To defeat him, the player must make him fall in the water by throwing knives at him. The Dictator tries to do the same to the player.
